Quick Update

So, this is a little bit of an update on my plans. It's not all good but not all bad.

Good news: I'm working on my first song. I know what instruments I'm going to use and when and I'm just messing around in Ableton to see what sounds good. I'm still planning on getting it uploaded by the end of the month, barring what I'm saying next happening.

Bad: my laptop has been having issues for the past month. I use my laptop for gaming as well so that's where I've mostly noticed the issues. My graphics have been stuttering and even when I go into settings to change it, I usually have to turn off my laptop for 15 minutes at least before I can try again. My laptop is also expelling a lot of hot air. I noticed that when I was travelling and my laptop wasn't connected to my home setup. I felt a lot of hot air when I was using my mouse.

My laptop is about 3.5-4 years old so I think it's hitting the end of it's lifetime where I either upgrade it or replace it. I am looking at possibly building my own PC since I don't travel often and when I do, I don't usually take my laptop. I've mulled over building a PC for a while but I was always discouraged by others. Will I get another laptop? Most likely but it'll be for gaming only, not my other avenues, since I am usually not working on a computer until I'm pretty sure of what I am doing.

So far, I should be able to make my goal of uploading my first themed song by the end of the month but uploads beyond that will determine on how my laptop is doing. So, stay tuned!
