Process and Song Update

So, this is not a great update. Basically, I am no longer committing to a specific timeframe to upload my first song. I'll explain why in this blog post/update.

As you'll recall, I pushed back my upload timeframe several times, with the hope that life would not throw any curveballs and I would be at a level I wanted to be at with both my art and music skills. Sadly, life didn't care and I did not dedicate as much time as I wanted to getting my music and art skills to a level I was happy with. Work and personal matters came first and as things changed in both my work and my life, I had to reprioritize things, which affected my plans.

How is this going to impact my songs? I will be uploading my songs but I am changing how I am doing so. I originally started by working on one song at a time and was not going to work on the other songs until the first one was uploaded. I later realized that was a bad idea, both because of how my brain works and the timing logistics of the previous approach. So, I will be working on my songs similarly to how I work on my writing projects: I'll try to focus on one but may jump to others as ideas come and go. I will also still be working on my music skills so that, when I do upload, I can upload a greater quantity with better quality in a shorter timeframe than just posting whenever I can. For my art skills, I'm still working on them but I will be also exploring other options for the video visuals and thumbnails in case I am not happy with my skills.

I do not intend for the quality of my work to suffer, which is why I'm choosing this approach instead of trying to commit to a timeframe and having work I wasn't happy with being uploaded. I know people are going to have comments no matter what, but I need to be happy and confident with what I put out first and foremost. Otherwise, I let the negativity get to me and I won't be as confident with everything else I do.

So, there's my plan. I will still be uploading my "behind-the-scenes" pictures on my projects and I am still going to be updating my pages, so keep an eye out for those. Right now, I am bouncing back and forth between projects but I am making progress on those projects.
